How To Schedule Your Text Messages With GoSMS Pro
Whether we admit it or not, text messaging is fast becoming a second nature when communicating using our phones. For smart phones, text messaging apps offer added features beyond sending and receiving messages. Go SMS Pro is an SMS client for Android that is a great alternative for the stock messaging app. One of its little-known features is being able to schedule a message to send at a later time. Here’s how it’s done:
Download Go SMS Pro from the Play Store. If you already have it installed, check that it’s the latest version (4.66).
With the app open, hit the Menu key. Tap on Services tab then choose Schedule.
This is where you see all scheduled messages. To add a new message, tap on the pen icon on the top right corner.
Enter the recepient, date and time, and compose the message on the text box below. When all is done, tap on Commit.
That’s it! Your message is saved for sending later.
To delete a pending message, tap and hold down on it and choose Delete.

My schedule messages don’t send, what can I do?
Hi,
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a support page for GoSMS. However, you can try ensuring that your phone has ample reception at the time when the scheduled message is supposed to be sent. Otherwise, it may a bug in the app.
I have messages I send daily at a certain times for work but how do i stop them from being sent on weekends
I’m afraid this app doesn’t offer that option, David. You might want to look for more advanced SMS scheduling apps to exclude specific days of the week.
Set it up as weekly and choose the days you want them sent.
